Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies Window Funding UK uses, what they do, and how long they last. Last updated 11 July 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way. We use them to remember where your visit came from so we can measure how well our campaigns work.
Cookies we set when you land
When you arrive on this website, we set first-party wml_* cookies (and matching local-storage entries) to record marketing attribution — the campaign source, UTM values and advertising click identifiers from your visit, plus the page you first landed on. These let us attribute an enquiry to the right campaign. They are first-party only and are not used to track you across other websites.
| Cookie | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
wml_utm_source, wml_utm_medium, wml_utm_campaign, wml_utm_term, wml_utm_content | Store the UTM campaign values from your landing URL for attribution. | 90 days |
wml_gclid, wml_fbc, wml_fbp and other wml_* click IDs | Store advertising click identifiers so an enquiry can be attributed to the ad that led to it. | 90 days |
wml_landing_url | Records the first page you arrived on during your visit. | 90 days |
Tag-manager and analytics cookies
We include a Google Tag Manager snippet in the site’s code, but it is currently switched off. If and when we enable tagging, it may set additional cookies — for example analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics _ga and _ga_*) and advertising cookies set by platforms like Google or Meta. If those are enabled, we will update this table and, where required, ask for your consent first.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics (only if enabled) | Measure how visitors use the site. |
_fbp | Meta pixel (only if enabled) | Measure ad performance and conversions. |
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Blocking the attribution cookies above will not stop the enquiry form from working. To understand how the data linked to these cookies is handled, see our privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Any updates will appear on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
